Homework 17

Disaster weekend homework assignment:

  • Using your own source grunge textures that you have created, dirty up your building using 2 of the 3 techniques you have learned in class this week. Those techniques were: shadow mask (baked out illumination with photoshop layer), desaturated (plus heavily modified) overlay, and painted on damage (bricks/stone/etc showing through).
  • Destroy the color shader of your structure and clean up the normal and spec maps as necesssary for your current situation.
  • If you have not completed prior homeworks or corrections, they have to be submitted by November 3rd, 2010 or you will get a zero for each homework not turned in. If you wish to turn in a half complete homework or one not done properly, it will not receive credit.

The disaster homework is due: Monday, November 1st, 2010.
